Project Coordinator role, working within the project management team to delivery rooftop solar projects

My client is a leading Solar Installation organisation, who specialise in large-scale commercial solar projects. They have offices in both Melbourne and Sydney and have adopted a very flexible hybrid working model. This company has a massive pipeline of solar and battery storage projects around the country and is going through some really exciting growth right now. They are dedicated to reducing carbon emissions and promoting clean energy alternatives nationwide.
Your new role
As the newest Project Coordinator, you will be a part of their biggest growth area right now, in their residential solar projects team. Working alongside the Project Manager, you will ensure all projects are delivered on time and to budget. The successful candidate will come from a similar background in the solar industry and have excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to deal with external stakeholders on a daily basis. You will be responsible for coordinating with all the installers on site to make sure the project is installed properly and efficiently. This is an exciting position in the renewable energy industry with huge career growth potential that involves interesting and varied projects.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 3 years' experience working on Solar Installation projects
- Experience coordinating and managing solar installers nationwide within the Australian renewable energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of large-scale solar and battery installation processes and regulations in Australia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience liaising with customers throughout Solar Installation projects
