One of our esteemed clients, a renowned leader in the Australian steel industry, is currently in search of a dedicated Project Engineer to join their dynamic team at their manufacturing site in Adelaide.
The Role
Key Responsibilities Include
- Oversee and assist with engineering deliverables for procurement and installation of existing and new Mill equipment
- Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and site teams to ensure project timelines are met
- Liaise, communicate and coordinate with operating plant personnel regarding any interactions or decision points
- Monitor project activities to achieve project milestones and make timely decisions
- Tertiary education in an approved discipline such as science, engineering
- Demonstrated ability to lead project activities in a brownfield site, including proficient timeline management
- Proven capability to lead and manage safety initiatives effectively
- Track record of involvement in change management including stakeholder engagement, consultation, negotiation and influence
- Experience in Mechanical, Automation, or Electrical engineering
- Proficiency in procurement processes and competitive tendering
- Experience working with multi-discipline teams in an industrial environment.
- Strong team and organizational skills.
- Desirable experience in Microsoft and CAD/Inventor (Drawing) applications.
