Project Engineer - Located In Coastal Nsw

This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leading global food manufacturing business, as a Project Engineer, based in Coastal NSW.

The Company
Our client, a market leader in their category, are currently looking to recruit a Project Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of operational projects through executing and delivering engineering projects on time, within budget and to the specification / scope.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Projects, your responsibilities will include:

• Working autonomously and with project teams to manage the program of planned capital works.
• Delivering on end to end projects from initial stages to hand over and commissioning.
• Driving project objectives to a high standard within a defined framework of systems and processes.

Your Background
In order to be successful in this role you will be:

• Qualified at a degree level in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (required).
• Project engineering experience gained within a complex food manufacturing environment, leading multi discipline projects from start to completion.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to motivate, influence and engage a broad group of stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Project Management methodology and the ability manage, report on and execute complex capital projects.
