Cratburn Pty Ltd is embarking on an exciting project to construct an 8-story apartment building situated at the southern end of the Gold Coast. There will be one apartment per level and they will be finished to a high standard. As we progress with our builder selection process, we are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team and oversee the successful delivery of this prestigious project.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to manage and safeguard our interests throughout the construction phase of our development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-rise construction and a solid background in construction management. Reporting directly to the CEO and relevant parties, the Construction Project Manager will be instrumental in ensuring that our project is executed to the highest standards of quality, within budget, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will:
- Work full time from an adjacent site office.
- Implement effective project Management strategies to identify and mitigate risks and drive the successful delivery of the project.
- Conduct site inspections and quality assessments to ensure the delivery of high standards of finish and workmanship in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
- Manage all contractual matters between the builder and Cratburn Pty Ltd including assessment and approval of all progress claims by the builder.
Requirements:
The successful applicant must:
- Hold as a minimum Valid QBCC Medium Rise Supervisors License, but preferably an Open Licence (or held, up until recently)
- Must have a proven track record in high rise construction and Project Management
- Must live on or near the Gold Coast
- Present strong personal and professional references
