Project Manager

IMA is currently seeking experienced Project Managers to join our team, working primarily in western Victoria and Melbourne.

You will take ownership of projects, issues, and solutions that will help take a business to its next level. Have your opinions sought and heard whilst making a big impact plus manage a diverse mix of IT/business-related projects across various sectors of industry. 
 
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in:  

• You are located either in the west of Melbourne or Western Victoria and have the capability or willingness to travel there on occasion.  
• Delivering complex projects involving extensive engagement and management of external stakeholders, and reporting to Steering Committees.
• In both technology and business process related projects with multiple stakeholders.
• In-depth experience in the establishment of structures to ensure effective governance and conflict resolution.
• Development and the management of the project controls including schedule, risks and issues, budget, reporting, communication/status reporting, change request management, etc.
• Management of Project teams including internal SMEs to deliver their work as well as external stakeholder management.
• From pre-sales through to final delivery you will monitor project procedures and produce reports in line with industry best practice.
• Contributing to the development, standardisation and implementation of project methodology.
• Promoting good project management practices across the business.
• Working knowledge of PRINCE2, PMBOK and AGILE methodologies and demonstrated experience in use of appropriate project methodologies.
• Experience in the implementation and running of a PMO would be highly regarded
• You will be commercially astute with outstanding communication skills and have highly developed time management skills.
• You will be able to build sustainable, productive relationships both internally and externally.
