Project Manager - A07 - Governance Framework | 5 month contract | QLD Government | 50/50 WFH arrangements
The Role:
Talent Street is looking for an Project Manager A07 - Governance Frameworkfor a large QLD government department. The Project Manager will lead the implementation of the new operating model within the department's customer services branch. The Project Manager would work closely with the project’s Principal Change and Communication Advisor. The Project Manager is required to undertake the successful delivery of project/s (or technical work package/s) from Start Up through to Closing within an Agile environment, adhering to the department's customer services branch governance and business requirements and ensuring benefits can be realised.

Duration: 5 Months with probable extension
Location: Brisbane inner north with 50/50 WFH options
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate project activities and resources to deliver the required outcome within the project budget and timeframes.
- Produce required project documentation in accordance with the client's policies and procedures within an Agile, and MSP Governance Framework.
- Ensure appropriate project governance and assurance activities are in place for the project.
- Work closely with the Change & Comms Advisor to implement communication plans, organisational change management plans and benefit realisation plans where necessary.
- Liaise closely with all project stakeholders including Project Executives, Project Board Members, Senior Users, Senior Suppliers as well as Senior Management and other Project Managers within the client's customer services branch.
- Provide effective management of risks, issues, conflicts, change requests and priorities.
- Manage the project budget and finances.
- Develop and maintain project schedules.
- Manage project resource allocations.
- Provide direction and support for the project team.
- Timely and accurate reporting on the progress of the project to all stakeholders.
- Ensure project administration activities are undertaken in accordance with internal governance and compliance practices.
- The key measures of success for this role are delivery of projects and work packages to the agreed Scope, Schedule, Quality and Budget baselines.
- Recent experience in projects in a complex agile environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Agile Practitioner Certified
- Experience within both public and private sector.
