We are an integrated team of passionate civil engineers, landscape architects, surveyors, town planners, urban designers, water engineers, digital specialists and visual media artists providing consultancy services to the property and infrastructure sectors. Our brand-new Adelaide office has deep connections to industry and communities across all of Spiire’s locations. This position will take a leadership role in our business unit as we grow our presence in South Australia and embark on exciting projects in both private and public sectors.
Job DescriptionThe Opportunity
As the Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of design within our projects and have the opportunity to build a team as we grow. You’ll be exposed to a wide range of integrated projects and enjoy true diversity in your work. This role will see you:
- Driving project performance and service delivery through positive technical outcomes for the client
- Proactively identify and resolve technical design issues with the client and wider design team and manage design interface
- Lead the compilation of tender documents, client reporting, and contract negotiations
- Liaise closely with industry and stakeholders to win work and continue business growth
- Collaborating with interstate teams and engineering professionals across the business.
About You
A qualified and experienced Senior Civil Engineer, you have previously worked on Land Division projects and your skills liaising with developers and local council are second to none. You thrive on taking a design lead role and will come to us with:
- Deep knowledge of, and well-connected networks within the Land Division market in Adelaide, specifically SA water standards
- Experience operating in a multidisciplinary consultancy ideally across multiple locations
- A proactive attitude and desire to take on new challenges
- The agility to operate in a smaller startup environment, with the solid backing of interstate resources initially
- Demonstrated ability to lead, with good influencing, motivating and delegation skills
