SalaryThey have successfully managed the design and delivery of more than $1.5 billion worth of capital works developments over the past 18 years throughout Australia. They have demonstrated capability in various projects, in particular extensive experience has been obtained through our involvement in numerous mixed use developments. These particular projects have had various tenant mixes, ranging from residential, retail, office, hotel, food, child care centres and gymnasiums and as such have required careful and considered stakeholder and user management. In recent times has obtained broad experience with the management and consultation of multiple stakeholders. Specifically this has included State and Local Government, State Authorities, user groups, local community and relevant consultants, throughout Australia.
They are now concentrating on commercial retail projects, such as shopping centres , predominantly in the eastern states.
Duties and Responsibilities
You shall ultimately be responsible to the Directors for the performance of your duties.
However, you will be expected to work as part of a team within the Project Management Group and take such advice and direction from the Directors you are working with to effectively undertake your duties and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Management of the delivery of projects through any or all of the development stages, such as town planning, documentation, tender, contract award, construction, fitout and handover on behalf of clients.
- Monitor and administer consultant, sub-contract and / or construction contracts as required to complete the project.
- Ensure all time and cost parameters are met in the delivery of the project.
- Ensure quality of the completed works is delivered to the agreed targets / parameters.
- Ensure any potential risks to the successful delivery of the project are identified and managed.
- Prepare weekly / monthly project reports for presentation to the client, detailing the status of the project to date.
- Manage the external consultant team in the preparation and delivery of the necessary documentation to progress projects through to completion.
- Conduct meetings (including design & site meetings) as required, including preparation and distribution of meeting minutes / action statement in a timely manner
- Coordinate and manage the resources (both internal and external) necessary to achieve the agreed project outcomes.
- Maintain detailed project management files for each project you have responsibility for
- Manage the preparation of detailed development programmes for projects.
- Manage the preparation of detailed project budgets / cost reports for projects.
- Prepare consultant briefs and negotiate and award consultant appointments as required.
- Administer contracts, including monitoring of programmes, administration of invoices / progress claims, etc.
- Convene, chair and minute regular design and site meetings and distribute minutes in a timely manner.
- Manage day-to-day actions / issues to ensure successful completion of the project, including monitoring and issuing of instructions to consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers and head contractors.
- Liaise with the client and relevant authorities as required to ensure successful completion of the project.
- Prepare monthly project reports for presentation to the client, detailing the status of the project to date, including status of time, cost and quality and identification of any potential risks to the project.
- Other management / general duties as require to complete project within required timelines
- Accurately record time spent working on various projects. Issue timesheets to accounts for invoicing at the end of each month.
