Project Officer - AO4 & AO5 | 27 Months Contract until June,26 | Brisbane Government |
Commencement Date : ASAP to June,26
Location : Berrinba, QLD 4117 (flexible working from home arrangements if approved minimum three days in the office).Mandatory Requirements : A current ‘C’ class drivers’ licence
The AO4 project Officer role is needed to undertake support tasks and the A05 Project Officer role will be needed to support delivery of a new primary producer project stream within FAST.
AO4 Project Officer
The successful candidate will be required to perform the following:
Undertake a range of activities to support the various functional areas of the client's Taskforce.
Administrative tasks including secretariat functions for stakeholder meetings and record keeping.
Logistics support for suppression activities delivered by external parties, this includes inventory management.
Data entry and basic analysis in support of operational activities. Utilisation of GIS mapping and data management systems
Respond to and resolve customer queries via internal systems such as CaSES CRM and the client Taskforce inbox.
Support of community engagement activities, including social media moderation, attendance at public engagement events and assisting large scale mailout campaigns.
Provide technical support to the operational delivery of FAST and its role in assisting the eradication efforts to the Program.
AO5 Project Officer
The successful candidate will be required to perform the following:
Plan and undertake activities that support the communication, engagement and extension with primary producers and other large landholders in South East Queensland, to enable management.
Provide technical advice to large landholders and primary producers on the effective implementation of management, including risk mitigation, surveillance, treatment and reporting.
Establish, promote and organise workshops, meetings and engagements with large landholders and primary producers to promote management activities and options.
Participate in workshops with key stakeholders, maintaining effective communication and relationships and providing expert advice on management activities in accordance with biosecurity legislation.
Effective coordination and tracking of project activities including project deliverables and risks to deliver a number of small, often related projects under a larger project or strategy.
Prepare documentation and provide support for ordering and distribution of treatment products and equipment relating to management. This may include inventory management, developing procurement documents, evaluation and contract management.
Provide technical support to the operational delivery of FAST and its role in assisting the eradication efforts of the Eradication Program.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including various functions in the Program, FAST and Biosecurity Queensland
Highly desirable to this role are:
A qualification or relevant experience in stakeholder engagement and communication, would be well regarded.
