Project Officer, Community Infrastructure Programs
* Salary: $74,580 - $90,558 (Plus Superannuation)
* Fixed term role until 18 November 2024
* Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)
* Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne (flexibility may be available)

The Role
The Project Officer specifically supports Community Infrastructure Programs in the delivery of infrastructure investment. It includes detailed analysis of data related to infrastructure projects and participation outcomes for all Victorians.
The responsibilities of this role will include:
* Supporting the implementation and monitoring of community sport and active recreation infrastructure funding programs and provide administrative support.
* Providing analysis, advice and administrative support to the Manager, Program Strategy on initiatives and projects related to the continuous development of a robust evidence base for community sport and active recreation infrastructure, including Pipeline and Outcomes Reporting data and analysis reporting.
* Initiating improvements, planning and managing own workload and competing priorities to achieve timelines, deliverables and standards that support community sport and recreation infrastructure funded projects and programs.
The Team
The Project Officer, Community Infrastructure Programs forms a part of the Sport and Recreation Victoria branch within the Sport and Experience Economy group.
SRV aims to create greater sport and active recreation participation opportunities for all Victorians in order to maximise economic, social and health benefits and enhance Victoria's livability.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and eperience:
* Planning and Organising: Identifies processes, tasks and resources required to achieve a goal; identifies more and less critical activities and operates accordingly, reviewing and adjusting as required; develops and implements systems and procedures to guide work and track progress; recognises barriers and finds effective ways to deal with them.
* Detail Focus: Observes fine details. Identifies gaps in information; looks for logical sequences of information; highlights practical considerations of plans and activities.
* Teamwork: Cooperates and works well with others in pursuit of team goals, collaborates and shares information, shows consideration, concern and respect for others' feelings and ideas, accommodates and works well with the different working styles of others, encourages resolution of conflict within the group.
* A tertiary qualification in fields related to sport and recreation management/development, project/policy management and/or business management will be highly regarded.
