Your new role
In this fully remote role, you will:
- Coordinate responses to the National Redress Scheme, focusing on individuals who were wards of the State or in youth detention.
- Research, analyse, and provide advice regarding the Department's participation in the Redress Scheme.
- Liaise with various department portfolios and external agencies for effective information management.
- Manage project work and prepare high-level documents for senior management.
- Adapt to additional responsibilities as needed, in line with your expertise and qualifications.
What you'll need to succeed
Your success in this role will be driven by:
- Knowledge or the ability to quickly learn about relevant legislation and practices, particularly pertaining to the National Redress Scheme.
- Strong project management skills, capable of independent operation and priority management.
- Outstanding communication abilities for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and confidentiality in your professional conduct.
- Sensitivity and understanding of the issues surrounding sexual abuse and its impacts.
