Wimmera Southern Mallee Development is the peak economic development organisation in the Wimmera Southern Mallee region and works with the community and governments to attract new investment, further develop existing business and promote the Wimmera's sustainable development opportunities.
We are building an organisation where how we work and operate is an essential part of our success as a team. We support flexible work practices and a collegiate environment that is respectful and outcome driven. This role is available on a part time or full time basis, for an initial term of 1 year.
Our ideal candidate might be a new graduate or experienced in project delivery, looking to work full or part-time - this role offers flexibility to attract the right candidate to our organisation.
You will bring:
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and the necessary skills to maintain effective networks within local communities.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external staff, partners and stakeholders.
- Ability to multi-task, establish priorities based on priorities and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated computer skills including the use of Microsoft suite of programs.
- Ability to work unsupervised and to use initiative.
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience, whilst not compulsory, will be looked upon favourably.
- Current driver license and National Police Records Check
