Working within the Projects group of one of the world's leading law firms, this is arguably the most unique opportunity for a private practice lawyer based in Brisbane.
We have done plenty of recruitment over the years with this team and find it one of the most rewarding roles to recruit for. The opportunities a position in this team present a lawyer are unlike any other.
About the role:
The practice group in Brisbane is exceptionally well regarded within the firm globally and its lawyers undertake work that utilises the firm's full international network.
If international matters across a suite of sectors - from renewables to conventional energy, construction, international border disputes and setting up special economic zones - are of interest to you, then this could very well be your dream opportunity.
Skills/Experience:
While a background in resources, construction or energy would be useful, the team is open to lawyers with other backgrounds. To be considered for this role however, you will have:

• trained as a lawyer with front end experience at a recognised national or international law firm;
• a genuine interest major projects work;
• a minimum of 2 years post admission (up to senior associate);
• solid academics from your LLB;
• strong drafting skills and an ability to think outside the box; and
• the confidence to be given a good deal of autonomy while also working closely in a team on large projects.
