Girl Guides Queensland, a 104 year old membership-based charity, is the largest youth organisation for girls and young women in Queensland with over 5,000 members and volunteers. We operate 139 properties (freehold, lease and trusts) of varying age and condition from 10 to 90 years old!
We are seeking a part-time contract Property Director and offer:

Your ability to quickly learn our systems, our organisation and the extent of our property portfolio will be essential. You will be providing high-level expertise to identify and deliver on strategic property initiatives together with developing systems and processes to assist the organisation's understanding., and of just how important the property portfolio is to enabling Guides Queensland to empower girls and young women across Queensland.
To be successful you will:
- Share our values
- Have a minimum 10 years corporate property and/or strategic asset management experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in property valuation or related discipline highly desirable or equivalent industry expertise
- Proven hands-on experience and involvement in the negotiation and delivery of strategic property projects
- Be a strategic thinker with practical know how to deliver outcomes and tools to support all levels of the organisation
- Experience in writing business cases
- Proven stakeholder engagement and change management experience, preferably within NFP and volunteer sector
- Ask questions and listen to build understanding and identify avenues for continuous improvement and shared outcomes
- Enjoy a high-volume workload and have a friendly, professional and respectful personality
