About the role
The “Area Manager” will be responsible for onboarding new properties within the assigned portfolio, liaising with contractors, supporting the team with escalated guest queries, and working closely with owners.
This position allows you the flexibility to work from home for 1 or 2 days per week and to work in the Melbourne CBD office for 3-4 days per week.
We are looking for a positive, confident person who can excel in a varied role that will look after a portfolio of around 60-70 properties.
You will also be required to drive to the Mornington Peninsula or Geelong when it is necessary to inspect properties or meet a client

A look inside the role:
- Onboarding new properties within your portfolio
- Liaising with owners during the onboarding process and ensuring that all information is collected and accurate
- Ensure compliance of homes with local laws (STRA etc.)
- Manage and monitor guest feedback/reviews
- Arrange property cleaning and maintenance, whilst building strong relationships with cleaners and other suppliers
- Monitor cleaning complaints and take appropriate actions for resolution
- Property revenue management
- Weekly propertiy inspections
- After-hours and weekend support on a rotating roster basis
Requirements:
- You must have an Australian driver's license and access to a reliable car
- Holiday accommodation management experience
- Experience using property management platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com would be extremely beneficial
- Real Estate Certification (or willingness to obtain prior to commencing)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to successfully handle conflicts/complaints
- Completion of police check
