As Rise’s new Property Officer (known as a Senior Administrator at Rise), you will coordinate & maintain Rise’s property portfolio & liaise with tenants & support workers regarding all property & maintenance issues.
A typical day might look like…
- Manage a small portfolio, handling all aspects of property management including tenant liaison, inspections, reactive & planned maintenance, and lease management.
- Liaise directly with tenants and support workers regarding property and tenancy related issues.
- Focus on tenancy wellbeing and sustainment through a client centred approach.
- Maintain residential leases as directed by the manager.
- Maintain accurate property and tenancy registers and filing systems.
- Complete rent reviews, tenancy payments and arrears management.
- Research, collate, analyse, and report on data.
- Respond to queries and complaints.
- Provide direct support to the Property Manager and other property staff.
This role is full time, working 76 hours per fortnight Monday to Friday. The role involves hybrid working, with some office-based work at our Helen’s Place location in Middle Swan & some working from home. Flexibility around start & finish times can be discussed.

- Experience in managing a property portfolio, including completing rental inspections.
- A Certificate IV in Business Administration or other relevant qualifications.
- Well-developed interpersonal & communication skills including letter & report writing.
- Ability to deal sensitively with clients and work collaboratively with colleagues and other organisations.
- Ability to effectively manage high workloads and make sound decisions on complex issues.
- Comprehensive computer skills in common use Microsoft applications (including Word, Excel, Outlook, and database usage) to generate reports, mail merge documents and presentations as well as the ability to use database programs.

- Tell us about your experience working in a Community Service, Property environment.
- Discuss your previous experience in completing property inspections & reports.
- Provide an example of a time you were faced with a significant workload and had to make multiple complex decisions within a tight timeframe.
