The Culture, Art and Heritage aims to;

The Public Programs Officer will undertake duties that include, but are not limited to the following activities:
1. Support the Gab Titui Cultural Centre objectives to implement a public programme schedule that contributes to the outcomes as specified through the Culture Art and Heritage Programme profile within the TSRA Torres Strait Development Plan.
2. Support the Gab Titui Culture Centre reputation as the hub within the Torres Strait for preserving, promoting, encouraging and educating regional, local, national and international visitors about Torres Strait Islander culture and art, through the Public Programmes initiatives.
3. Develop and maintain productive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, practitioners and skills sets to support and collaborate on the delivery of Public Programmes initiatives.
4. Work closely within Gab Titui Cultural Centre team on its daily operations of the gallery and retail services, including working on rostered Saturday trading and other events outside of normal trading hours, where necessary.
5. Support the wider CAH Programme with data collation, reporting, information research and analysis, as needed.
6. Other duties as directed by management.
