We have an opportunity at our Dandenong South office for a proactive Purchasing Assistant to join our operations team.
The Role:
- Purchase order and shipment administration
- Organising local and international freight as well as co-ordinating shipments
- Assisting in optimising stock holdings through effective ordering processes
- Reviewing and resolving supplier invoice discrepancies
- Updating stock inventory with ETA’s and maintaining an inventory and supplier database
- Following up on back orders and overdue purchase orders
- Maintain records for current supplier details, pricing, and technical information
- Analysing and preparing stock management reports
- General administrative duties
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who possesses the ability to pick up product knowledge quickly. Previous experience in purchasing is desirable but not essential.
Not afraid to use your initiative, you will be a proactive team player with a high attention to detail and time management skills.
