Purchasing & Detailing Officer

Due to the promotion of the previous Purchasing & Detailing Officer, we are seeking a detail-oriented candidate to join this growing family-owned business. Supplying custom window and door designs for multi-million dollar homes in WA, the successful candidate will play a pivotal part in interpreting site drawings and creating fabrication-ready documents.

Based in Bayswater, and working from 8am – 5pm, you will be welcomed by a team of highly knowledge and friendly industry experts. This tight-knit team will provide in-depth systems training and guidance as you learn the intricacies of this role. Another key part of this position will be to raise purchase orders with local suppliers and maintain strong relationships to ensure all raw materials are available to meet the construction deadline.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Interpreting and understanding architectural plans.
• Updating the V6 software with data obtained from site measurement sheets.
• Generating and managing purchase orders, including communication with suppliers for project-related orders.
• Issuing purchase orders for required stock items.
• Creating fabrication documents from V6 software.  

Skills and Experience Required:

• High level of attention to detail and technical aptitude.
• Willingness to learn and operate V6 SoftTech window software and MYOB software (training provided).
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to adhere to established processes and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving abilities coupled with creative thinking to tackle challenges effectively.
