Purchasing Officer- Prosthesis 

Supply Department

About the Role:

Responsible for undertaking the efficient, cost effective and timely purchase and procurement of prosthetics and their associated reporting and other items required by the Hospital, and facilitates effective communication between the Supply Department, hospital users and suppliers.

About You:

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is seeking an opportunity to step into a challenging role.

You will possess good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work constructively with internal and external stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

• Experience working with purchasing and inventory control systems (Pronto, SAP or similar)
• Experience of procurement of prosthetics and other items required by the hospital
• Ability to apply high ethical standards and represent the hospital in a professional manner
• Effective communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
• Sound computer skills (experience using MS Office programs)
• Demonstrating a commitment to uphold and promote the Ramsay Way core values
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Willingness to develop new and existing skills.
