AddressOur client is a leading player in the Automotive industry, dedicated to driving sustainable transportation solutions. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a skilled Purchasing Officer to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage contract and purchase orders efficiently.
- Receive and process weekly purchases of materials in NetSuite from approved suppliers.
- Maintain ongoing surveillance of material costs and negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers.
- Address any issues or non-conformances promptly as they arise.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide procurement support for defined projects and suppliers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize procurement processes and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar procurement role, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain supplier
