About this Opportunity
AVK Valves is currently seeking a QHSE Officer to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. Based in Wingfield, South Australia, this role would suit someone who is interested in working in the area of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment.
Reporting to the QHSE Manager, this role will be responsible for:
- Administration of all aspects of the Company’s QMS, WHS and EMS systems (the CMS).
- Ensuring compliance with WHS legislative requirements.
- Record-keeping in accordance with relevant legislation and standards
- Coordinating and managing training within the site
- Administration of site Customer Complaint Requests (CCRs) and Non-conformance Actions (NCAs)
- Coordination of Internal Audits
- Supporting the Group QHSE Manager and General Manager Group Operations in any other Administrative tasks, as required
About You
We are looking for a candidate who is confident and can work without supervision.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience and skills:
- Minimum qualification of Certificate IV in WHS, or a willingness to undertake training
- Demonstrated organisational skills, with the ability to work proactively and independently to coordinate multiple deliverables and demands
- The capacity to manage several tasks or requests simultaneously
- Display professionalism and a positive attitude
- Sound computer skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Salary for this role will be negotiated in line with skills and experience.
