About the role
We currently have a great opportunity for someone with strong administration skills to work at our QLD State Office in Sandgate on a full time permanent basis, working Monday to Friday. Reporting to the National Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Quality & Improvement Team with clerical and administrative activities including document control of the quality management systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain effective information and management systems, including maintaining and updating relevant databases and incident management platforms
- Maintain the quality management system and assisting staff with the completion of appropriate documentation
- Supporting the Quality team through provision and review of reports, documents, policies & procedures and correspondence
- Maintaining staff files, , on-boarding & off boarding, updating organisational charts, phone lists, managing capex requests and network access
- Organising travel, accommodation and car hire
- Project management of functions, events and meetings as required
- Maintain records, ensuring relevant costings are allocated and Petty Cash management
- Supporting Quality Team through shared duties such as assisting the Feedback & Complaints team when required
- Please note that this position may require manual handling tasks to be performed that include, transferring and using equipment used for carrying objects
- Please be aware that whilst the role is Monday to Friday, due to the nature of the business unit you may be required to work on QLD based public holidays and during compulsory shutdown periods (i.e. Christmas).
Skills & Experience
- Extensive administrative experience within a fast-paced environment, preferably in an aged care or health environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft office suite with emphasis on Word Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Well developed interpersonal skills and multi-tasking capabilities
- Reliability, and a well organised approach, comfortable making decisions and asking for help when appropriate
- Forward-thinking ability, ability to work both autonomously and in a team
