Aqseptence Group Pty Ltd is a global leader in the design and manufacture of a diverse range of customised stainless steel screening solutions for specific end-user applications in the mining, refining, water and general industrial markets. In Australia, we employ over 100 people, mainly at our Eagle Farm facility on Brisbane's north side.
Aqseptence Group requires a Quality Administrator to work part time, 20-25 hours per week, who will define, implement and enforce business processes to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain profit margins whilst creating & preserving a safe environment.
Job Summary:
- Proactively improving the quality output of operations through error prevention, process improvement and education in new methods & techniques.
- Systematically monitoring and evaluating the various aspects of manufacturing projects, services and facilities to maximize the profitability that minimum standards of quality are being attained by the production process.
The Quality Administrator contributes to the teams purpose by:
- Maintaining a central document control system, covering aspects of the quality, safety & engineering business systems;
- Assisting with maintenance of the quality systems, registers, databases and procedures;
- Assisting in collation of all customer Manufacturing Data Report (created by India) submissions to tight timelines.
- Providing administrative support in the development and implantation of quality processes and procedures.
- Immediate challenge is to assist in the development of swim lane process maps for the revision of the QA systeAAm.
Key functions and Accountabilities:
- Create and review technical documentation such as procedural, instructional and operational guides and manuals, technical reports and specifications and maintenance inventory systems.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, policies and instructions, and record and detail operational procedures and system logs.
- Compile manufacturing data reports (created by India) in accordance with customer requirements and Quality procedures, and communicate with customers on any related queries or requests.
- Process and handle information and documents to maintain access to and security of database and record management systems.
- Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, testing and resolving system problems and issues.
- Provide administrative support in the development and maintenance of Quality processes and procedures. This includes: scanning and copying, indexing, filling and archiving, use of databases and the MRP system, and working with production administration and Goods receiving to gather data.
- Undertake or participate in day-to-day tasks reasonably requested within the operations function of the business.
About the person required:
- Basic business or technical qualifications preferred
- Experience in computerised and manual document control in an engineering environment and in a manufacturing setting is desirable.
- Proficiency in written applications as reports and documentation are the key mediums required of the position
- Process driven and organisational planning ability
- Good interpersonal skills in leading and working with peers
