Job Description
SGS is seeking a full time Quality Coordinator responsible for our East coast commercial laboratories to join our team based in Townsville.
Duties include, however not limited to:
- To take local responsibility for the Quality System on behalf of the National Quality Manager
- Maintain systems to ensure business unit compliance to ISO9001 certification and where applicable ISO17025
- Organise and/or carry out internal audits including LIMS audits as per global policy
- Coordinate and maintain the quality protocols/criteria in our LIMS systems
- Assist in investigation of quality non-conformances and client complaints.
- Will be in charge of delivering quality training and development of new training documentation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- Significant laboratory QA/QC process experience
- Demonstrable experience in fostering a quality culture within a laboratory
- Solid understanding of laboratory and QHSE practices, as well as chemical processes
- Operational knowledge of all site requirements in relation to ISO 9001 systems.
