What you will be doing:
- Assist in the enforcement and overall effectiveness of all quality assurance and quality control activity in Fluidra APAC Australia manufacturing sites
- Assist in the maintenance and governance of compliance for the pool and spa chemical quality management system and chemical customer standards
- Assist in chemical system/process activities and audits with retail customers and Australia/New Zealand government agencies and chemical standards (APVMA, AICS, NZIoC, ACCC)
- Assist in supplier qualification including supplier on-site audits and evaluation, ensuring supplier compliance and implementing improvement plans where deficiencies are documented
- Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and testing as appropriate, coordinating and confirming the re-work process for returning products
- Assist in Quality related deliverables of Fluidra New Product Development (NPD) process such as advanced product quality plan methodology, manufacturing readiness and part production approval process
- Address product and process nonconformance and prevent recurrence through containment, root cause analysis, corrective action, and preventative action
- Track warranty field failure data and assist in failure analysis
- Inspection of critical components to print/standard requirements using various gauges and test equipment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent technical degree
- 3-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing, engineering and/or chemicals environment including experience with both manual and automated Inspection Tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM’s) and evaluating inspection reports to prints and specifications
- Familiar with electronic/pool care or chemical manufacturing, assembly and pack-out processes
- Experience with 8D (RCCA) and/or AIAG CQI-20 Effective Problem-Solving models.
- Basic education on AIAG tools and concepts (Control Plan, PFMEA, MSA, Layered Process Audits, etc.)
- Available to travel domestically and internationally to suppliers as well as regular travel between sites
