The position
The QHSE Manager oversees the QHSE team whilst being responsible for ensuring required QHSE outcomes are achieved and maintained. You will oversee continuous implementation and operation of the QHSE Management System to all parts of the organisation.
Duties include:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the QHSE team.
- Direct complex and diverse audits, investigations, and inspections.
- Ensure the timely and appropriate response to incidents, including timely and appropriate reporting.
- Ensure compliance with the applicable regulations, standards, processes, and controls.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, customers, contractors, and partners, to drive continuous improvement in QHSE performance.
- Design and ensure appropriate implementation of training programs to enhance awareness and competence in QHSE matters.
Skills & experience required:
- Work Health & Safety (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
- Current drivers license required.
- In-depth understanding of health, safety, environment, and quality regulations
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage with regulatory authorities and external partners.
