The Quality Manager will create Quality and Compliance methods to ensure a high standard is met at each of their Aged Care facilities in Tasmania.
About the Organisation:This trusted and well-known NFP Aged Care provider has multiple residential Aged Care homes situated throughout TAS with support from the National Head Office that focus on delivering high-quality support to all their staff in facilities.
About the role:
The Quality Manager will be responsible for the provision and co-ordination of quality care standards, compliance and education programs across five Aged Care residential homes based in Tasmania that meets the individual needs of the residents and management of the clinical care staff team.
Duties:
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Aged Care sector, including funding and policy protocols, and accreditation standards and processes.
- Coordinate, educate and mentor the clinical staff
- Assisted Aged Care homes to strive for achieving 100% compliance with Quality standards 100% of the time
- Travel when required to the five sites
- Background working as a Clinical Manager and recent accreditation understanding/experience
- Current understanding of Quality and Compliance in Aged Care
- Tertiary qualifications in Health, Nursing or Social Sciences
- Registered Nurse certification with AHPRA
