Quality Manager - Leading Outdoor Lifestyle Company

This leading and entrepreneurial business is part of a large, ASX-listed company which is continuing to expand within the Asia Pacific region. Due to a tripling in projects over the previous two years the Australian team continues to increase in size and capability. The company designs, develops and manufactures numerous products and complex engineered systems that are used by people for work, sports, outdoor recreation and leisure activities. Key tasks and responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager, the Quality Manager will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders across sales, marketing, supply chain, engineering and production / manufacturing. You will lead a small quality team of five people across two sites to ensure all products and services meet quality requirements and drive the company's compliance and risk management systems. Your team will ensure supplied parts comply for Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and lead numerous continuous improvement processes including the set-up and establishment of a new combined greenfield manufacturing site.

Desired skills and experience

Professionally qualified you will be a experienced Quality Manager who understands QA and ISO best practice, continuous improvement and lean manufacturing. As a practical and critical thinker you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with experience in assembly and fabrication within the industrial, equipment or automotive manufacturing sectors being well regarded. We are looking for an experienced quality controls and assurance professional who is proactive in challenging exisiting quality processes and developing new systems.
