Reporting to the Executive General Manager, Corporate Service and Company Secretary, you will be responsible for the maintenance and evaluation of the organisational Quality, Risk, Governance and Legal frameworks, with a focus on compliance, continuous improvement, and risk control.
In this exciting new position, you will:- Act as a point of contact for any external enquiries from regulators such as the NDIS Commission and the NDIA
- Ensure that MSQ’s NDIS and other government accreditations and registrations remain current and manage all related audits and enquiries
- Manage the organisation’s insurance portfolio minimising risk and improving efficiency
- Work closely with external legal supports to manage the legal and regulatory affairs for the organisation
- Maintain the organisation’s contract register and internal legal review process
- Contribute as a key member of the Business Continuity Team and Emergency Response Team
- Implement, assess and evaluate policies and procedures
- Lead, coach and empower team members to successfully deliver upon their functional objectives
- Tertiary qualified in Business, Commerce or Law with relevant post graduate qualifications highly regarded
- At least 5 years’ experience in a quality, risk or legal management role
- Comprehensive understanding of risk management principles and experience in risk and compliance management
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Practice Standards or other accreditation processes
- Experience in the development and implementation of quality assurance, governance, risk and compliance models
- Senior level communication, negotiation, mediation, persuasion, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, and critical thinking skills
A NDWS clearance and completion of NDIS Online Worker Training Module will be required for this role (prior to commencement).
