AddressWe are seeking applicants to join our Race & EventDepartment team within this general labour role. Successfulapplicants will be part of a small team assisting with daily setup, preparation and maintenance of our on-mountain ski andsnowboard racecourses.
Working alongside Mountain Operations Departmentsincluding Grooming and Lifts, you will work on small and largeevents, from club races through to internationally recognised raceson some of Thredbo’s best terrain, as well as assisting withour many on mountain events which run throughout theseason.
With some early starts and late finishes on themountain, you will see Thredbo and its surrounds at its absolutebest. Opportunities exist to help and learn to set courses alongwith the potential to drive or learn how to drive asnowmobile.

If you’re up for an exciting opportunityto:
- Work as an equal team member in all weather conditions to achieve goals.

- Be available from mid-June through till mid to late September.
- Work up to 38hrs per week with a consistently flexible approach.
- Maintain high standards of punctuality and professionalism in both appearance and conduct.
- Positively engage in and support the Snowsports department.

- Take and act on directions and manage priorities.

… with your experience and skillsin:
- A skiing ability higher than a strong intermediate level (Ski Level 7 or 8 here)
- Be in good physical condition: able to lift 20kg and ski with bulky loads.
- A current driver’s licence of provisional level or above.
- Prior work in and around racecourses, driving snowmobiles or motorbikes, or admin skills are a distinct advantage but not essential.
- Hold or eligible to obtain an NSW Working with Children check.
