They are responsible for ensuring the airworthiness and reliability of our fleet.As part of the investment in our future, we have a fleet of new A320NEO's arriving from mid-2022 and we recently launched the Melbourne Engineering Precinct, which is the primary maintenance hub of our network. Our team has the opportunity to work not only on Jetstar aircraft, but also support Qantas Group A320/1, B717 and A321 Freighter aircraft and Jetstar Branded Airlines (JBA's) in Singapore and Japan. The Melbourne Precinct has also become the proud new home for our Apprentice Program.The OpportunityOur AMO Support Services Team now have an opportunity available in the role Receipt Compliance Officer. Reporting to the Receipt Compliance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance of controlled Class I, II & III components entering the Jetstar Engineering network. This will include ensuring the regulatory compliance of all technical maintenance data for Class I, II & III controlled parts are recorded in the Maintenance Information System - TRAX in accordance with CASA CASR 42 Regulations.As the Receipt Compliance Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring regulatory compliance is maintained
  • Working closely with the Stores and Logistics team to identify and actively manage any safety-related issues across the CDC.
  • Identifying and reporting into our Starsafe system any potential hazards and risks
  • Participating in any Risk Assessments applicable to Receipt Compliance or the Stores operation
  • Performing inspection and writing compliance to any applicable embodied engineering controls and reset applicable part control in the MIS - TRAX
  • Performing the Receipt Compliance process into the MIS TRAX within KPI timeframe
  • Identifing and separating non-compliant items for receipt discrepancy process.
  • Identifying and reporting suspected unapproved/bogus parts
  • Liaising with Fleet Teams or Supply Chain when errors are noted on vendor documentation.
  • Interpreting technical data, authorised release certificates and workshop reports.

To be considered for this role, you will bring:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Engineering/Aviation stream will hold you in high regard
  • Aircraft Trade Certificate
  • Solid (approx. 5 years) Aircraft Technical Data systems and Airline Maintenance Systems experience
  • Experience in the TRAX Maintenance Information system (desirable)
  • A high level of computer competency
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Civil Aviation Regulations pertaining to the maintenance of aircraft records specifically CASR 42.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.
