As the Receptionist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the presentation of the firm’s reception and meeting areas and providing first class customer service to all clients and visitors including offering and serving of refreshments.
Core duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Answering all incoming calls in a timely and professional manner;
- Scheduling and coordinating meeting rooms;
- Assisting the Office Manager with Ad Hoc duties;
- Greeting and serving all clients and visitors in a timely, professional and helpful manner;
- Maintaining the presentation of the reception area and meeting rooms;
Your excellent communication skills will be utilised on the telephone and when greeting clients and visitors. Flexibility with working hours may be required to meet operational needs at times.
Requirements
The successful applicant will possess the following:
- Demonstrated experience working in a receptionist role, preferably in a legal or professional services environment (with 1-2 years experience);
- Proficient and accurate typing skills and use of the Microsoft office suite programs;
- Exceptional corporate presentation with a positive, friendly and mature personality; and
- A self-motivated attitude and initiative.
Experience in drawing cheques, banking, and knowledge of Open Practice and iManage systems would be considered advantageous. The firm prides itself on excellent customer service and this role is imperative to our continued success.
