Receptionist

Our small Vet practice, located in Secret Harbour is looking for a reception/admin person to join our team.

The successful candidate will be required to manage reception duties independently and be able to prioritise, be punctual, friendly and well – presented. Every day presents a new challenge!

Key tasks and responsibilities:

1. Display a positive and proactive outlook as the initial point of contact
2. Appointment scheduling
3. Handling patient payments
4. Document management
5. Light cleaning
6. Answering incoming calls and making outgoing calls
7. Monitoring and responding to emails
8. Assisting Vets with admin tasks such as note entering, retrieving results or sending referrals
9. Assist the Practice Manager as directed

Requirements:

1. Professional phone manner
2. Police clearance
3. Reception/admin experience
4. Able to work 8:30am – 7pm (Monday to Thursday) and possibly Fridays
