We are a boutique chartered accountancy firm servicing the needs of a growing entrepreneurial and strategic client base. We pride ourselves on high quality and proactive service across our highly engaged and active client-base, and we are looking for a receptionist to join our small team.
Key responsibilities include;
- Telephone and reception operations, greeting clients and phone messages.
- Managing correspondence and drafting general letters to clients.
- Managing the diaries of 3 directors.
- Managing various client statutory notices such as tax assessments and ASIC, land tax etc and drafting correspondence.
- Developing skills in the management of the practice such as payment of creditors and recovery of debtors, drafting of fees.
- Generally managing the office operations of a team of 12 staff.
- Full time in-office role, 830 to 5 pm daily.
To be successful in this position you will need:
- Previous experience in an Accountant office or professional office experience (preferred)
- Attention to detail is essential
- ATO and ASIC knowledge (preferred)
- Intermediate computer skills eg word, excel and outlook
- Time Management Skills
- Ability to deal with clients and build strong client relationships
- Ability to manage time with minimal supervision
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in accounting software knowledge Xero (preferred)
- Good Team Spirit
