ABOUT THE ROLE
With a demonstrated background in administration in a healthcare environment and a passion for leadership, you will join our Chermside Clinic, QLD, on a Part-Time basis, working 14 hours per week.
DUTIES
Responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:
- Assisting the Practice Manager through effective team supervision and supporting of administration staff
- Assisting in human resource functions including recruitment, inductions & performance management
- Promoting and embedding a high level standard of customer service delivery including;
- Maintaining confidentiality while managing patient records
- Greeting patients, answering telephone calls, patient triage and booking patient appointments
- Patient billing and cash collection
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience within a healthcare industry, preferably within a General Practice or Occupational Health environment. Experience in leading teams, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Further skills and attributes required for the role:
- Previous medical reception/admin management experience
- Ability to engage, motivate and manage staff to achieve desired business outcomes.
- Good computer skills.
- A strong commitment to customer service.
- The following experience/qualifications will be highly regarded (however on the job training will be provided to the successful candidate):
- Experience using Best Practice Software
- Qualification/s in medical administration
