Hidden Valley Resort, part of the Arcadia Group, is seeking to appoint a full time Reception/Administration Assistant (12 month fixed term maternity leave contract) to join our Hidden Valley Resort team.
The Hidden Valley Resort boasts a level of facilities never seen before in Melbourne's north, just 45 minutes from the CBD and 25 minutes to the airport. Set in 450+ acres of Tuscan surrounds, the Hidden Valley Resort is the destination for wedding parties, corporate events, functions, conventions, as well as providing luxury townhouse accommodation and sporting facilities such as our championship golf course, gym, indoor pool, tennis and pickleball courts and a bowling green. The resort is also home to The Grove Bar & Bistro.
Reporting to the General Manager, the position will be responsible for providing high quality reception and customer service as well as providing essential administrative support to the management team. The position will cover standard business hours Tuesday to Saturday, approximately 38 hours per week.
About the role
Working with a smile and providing great service to members and guests, the role will involve:
- Providing support and service to all guests and customers regarding memberships, food and beverage enquiries, accommodation bookings, check-ins and departures and general resort facility enquiries
- Assisting with new membership enquiries
- Processing and receipting payments
- Assisting with accounts payable duties
- Maintaining general office consumable stock
- Managing competing demands effectively and efficiently
About you
What you will bring to the role:
- At least 2 years Customer Service, Reception, or Administration experience (Resort or Hotel environment preferred).
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office software (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook).
- High attention to detail.
- High level ability to engage with customers with outstanding communication skills.
- Enthusiasm and energy, with a love for making the day enjoyable for others.
- Preferably live within a 25 km radius from Hidden Valley, Wallan
Pre-requisites for the role include:
- National Police clearance - within last 90 days (mandatory or willing to arrange)
- First Aid Certificate (highly regarded)
