Receptionist & Administration Assistant / HR Support

Yellow Iron Fleet leader is a leader in the earthmoving and mining industries.  

With the growth of our business an exciting opportunity has become available to join our growing team at our Bendigo Head Office as a Reception/ Administration Assistant. Experience in a HR administration role would be a great advantage.

We're seeking a dynamic individual to become a valuable part of our professional team, dedicated to delivering outstanding service.

Known for your self-motivation and adept multitasking skills, you thrive in determining priorities and meeting organizational deadlines. While you appreciate structure, you effortlessly handle diverse tasks and remain flexible under pressure. You need to be technologically savvy; you excel at troubleshooting and possess a confident phone manner to seize opportunities and address challenges.

As the Receptionist & Administration Assistant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and staff with a friendly demeanor. 
  • Answering phones 
  • Supporting the office team with various administrative tasks
  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • Accurate data entry with meticulous attention to detail
  • Assistance with HR and onboarding of new employees
  • Managing data collection and staff contact information in the strictest confidentiality.
  • Processing invoices and job paperwork
  • Efficiently managing email inboxes
  • Ensure the smooth operations of the office whilst upholding the core values of the company.

The Successful Applicant:

To excel in this role, you should have the following:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist/administrative support role (desired)
  • HR experience would be desirable.
  • Proactive individual with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to operate autonomously. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional presentation with skills in liaising with a range of clients and stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and competent administrative skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook and ability to use scanning, printing and copying equipment.
