We are looking for a full-time receptionist who is highly motivated to assist in supporting a group of Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist and Recovery Science clients based in Fortitude Valley. This role would be required to work 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will need strong communication and time management skills, pay attention to detail, and have a confident and professional approach.
The Role:
- Open the clinic and prepare wellness facilities for first clients
- Greet and welcome clients and patients in a warm and professional manner
- Respond to calls, emails and general enquiries
- Manage patient and client appointment scheduling, including booking, rescheduling and cancelling appointments in our clinic management software
- Process payments and manage billing enquiries with high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist in the management of patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date, accurate, and securely stored
- Provide administrative support to practitioners, including answering queries, helping with patient management, editing invoices, processing orders, document preparation and management etc
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients and staff
- Manage inventory of office supplies, clinic materials, supplements and liquid herbs, placing orders as required
- Enthusiastic to make a positive contribution within a fun and energetic environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Must be able to work mornings
- Proven experience in a Receptionist and administrative role within a health care setting
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of clients and team members
- High level of proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and Dropbox and the ability to quickly learn new software
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- A commitment to providing outstanding patient and practitioner service, with a friendly and empathetic approach to patient care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks
Hourly rate is ~$25.00 (Level 3)
