About the Role
The position of receptionist is crucial to the general operations of our head office based in Cairns, Queensland. We require a professional and organised individual to coordinate our front desk and be the first point of call for visitors and inquires.
Responsibilities
- Take incoming calls and effectively distribute/take messages
- Maintain office supplies by stocktaking and placing orders
- Scan, name and file documentation in an efficient and accurate way
- Complete high-volume data entry tasks
- Manage deliveries and outgoing post
- Greet visitors with a high level of professionalism
- Assist with other departments of the organisation when required
- Set up and maintain meeting rooms
About the successful candidate
- Professional and have a willingness to learn
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Certificate III in Business (or similar)
- Reliable and consistently punctual
- General understanding of the construction industry
