About us
Bite Dental is a private, boutique dental studio owned by Dr Simon Franks, one of Australia's most highly qualified dentists and examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. Dr Franks’ core philosophy is that patients don’t care what you know until they know that you care. Building relationships with our patients is a cornerstone of the practice, and we treat our patients as friends.
Our values
We do not rush through appointments. We set aside sufficient time with each patient to understand their motivations and concerns, to diagnose and treat completely and collaboratively, and to ensure that they are part of their journey in health.
The entire Bite team is committed to providing patients with high-quality care and personalised service, and feedback from our happy patients, with over 300 5 Star Google Reviews, gives us comfort that we are living our philosophy.
About the clinic
The practice has been operating in the CBD since 1960, with Dr Franks purchasing and rebranding it as Bite Dental in 2010 and expanding it to a 4 chair practice in 2019, with every design element tailored to support our core values.
The clinic is located in the centre of Brisbane's Queen St Mall, within walking distance of train and bus routes and all that the CBD has to offer.
We are part of a health hub that includes GPs, skin specialists, maxillofacial surgeons, cosmetic clinic and a pathology lab. We share a building, and have close relationships, with a radiology clinic, endo and perio specialists as well as a pharmacy.
