We are currently seeking a Receptionist for our St Leonards head office. This is a great part-time job share opportunity, and would be ideal for a university student or someone seeking a reception/administration position with part-time hours (3 days/week working Wednesday - Friday).
About the Role:
This is a key role as the face of our business. You will be responsible for providing friendly and professional service to anyone who contacts or visits our office. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who has the ability to “see what needs to be done” and takes a proactive approach to providing exceptional customer service to your colleagues and external customers.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing the reception area, meeting and greeting visitors, answering incoming calls and facilitating meeting room bookings
- Communicating with internal and external customers and vendors, resolving or redirecting as required (i.e. consumer queries, adverse reactions, products, sales representatives)
- Managing facilities/office maintenance, including working with contractors and building management to manage any building repairs and maintenance activities
- Coordination of local staff events and employee health and well-being activities in line with the HR calendar
- Internal and external mail distribution, including local and international courier requests
- General office administration duties such as filling, updating phone lists, ordering catering and groceries.
About you:
- Some previous experience in a Reception/Administrative role is essential. Customer service and supplier management experience would be advantageous
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to liaise confidently with management and clients
- Highly organised, with an ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks with established deadlines
- Demonstrates high attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated, positive and takes pride in what you are doing, regardless of the task
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
- Physically fit as occasional lifting of delivery boxes will be required
