About the opportunity
This is a rare opening to join our highly motivated and passionate administration team.
We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills who can contribute to a harmonious team, be responsible for managing our front desk daily and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks under the direction of the Administration Manager and Residential Services Manager.
As a pivotal member of the team, answering enquiries from our residents and their relatives brings real personal satisfaction, when you see the smile on their face or hear the gratitude in their voice.
This position is casual and may be ideal for someone that is looking to begin in their administrative career, wanting flexibility while studying or may be of interest if you're re-entering into the workforce.

Key responsibilities may include:
• Provide general advice and information on the organisation’s services,
• operational of our switchboard in a professional and courteous manner with calls being directed appropriately, assisting visitors and client’s guest to the right person or department.
• Responsible for the mail collection and distribution
• Demonstrate the ability to work consistently positively within a team to achieve team goals and work without direct supervision to complete duties.
• Be familiar with emergency procedures and safety and security precautions.
• Conversant with the Standards and Guidelines for Residential Aged Care Services, Resident’s Rights, relevant legislation and to endeavour to fulfil their requirements.
Skills & experience
• Receptionist/Administrative experience is desired.
• Demonstrated ability to update, manage, coordinate and distribute material and documents.
• Computer literacy including the use of Microsoft Office Suite Skills Excel, Word & Outlook essential.
• Strong Communication Skills
• Excellent & Strong organisational and time management skills
