For nearly 60 years, we have been standing by the side of vulnerable Western Australians experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness, mental health challenges, trauma and hardship. About the role
We are seeking a permanent Recovery Support Workers for Future Homes, our short-term transitional accommodation service for men at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
The role is 4 nights per week, Tuesday to Friday 22:15 to 07:15.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will provide support to our consumers in their recovery journey to build independence, meet individual goals and review and monitor progress.
Taking into consideration the qualifications, skills and experience of the successful applicant the base salary offered for this position spans from $63,646 to $69,436 pro rata plus superannuation. This position also attracts a 15% Night Shift loading.
About you
We are seeking someone who…
- Is recovery focused, has knowledge and understanding of wellness, recovery and trauma informed principles
- Has great communication skills and can build rapport with our consumers
- Is comfortable working at night
- Tertiary qualification in Community Services, Mental Health or related discipline (minimum Cert III), or working towards a degree in a related field with experience.

The successful candidate must possess a:
- National Police Clearance, current within three (3) months
- Current ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence
- First Aid Certificate, current within three (3) years of the issue date
