The opportunity
To support our growth, we are seeking an experienced Recruiter. In this newly created role, you will find and recruit talent in line with the staffing plan via your existing engineering contacts, plus online and traditional networking and recruitment tools. You will attract and onboard talented candidates for both secondment and in-company opportunities to enhance the capability of our engineering and design teams.
What will you bring:
- Minimum 3 years' experience specifically within the Engineering industry
- An already-existing, comprehensive network of engineering talent, and a willingness to build and maintain relationships in anticipation of future opportunities
- Strong track record in sourcing and engaging suitable candidates
- High level of communication, interpersonal and rapport-building skills
- Motivated and driven
- Full working rights in Australia
Key duties:
- Liaise with management to understand staffing requirements
- Coordinate, implement and continuously improve new recruitment initiatives and strategies
- Advertise on various recruitment advertising platforms
- Talent search and pro-actively source passive candidates through various professional networks, social media and referrals
- Maintain candidate pool database with current availability, contract end dates etc. to create a talent pipeline for future opportunities
- Represent Momentum at job fairs, career and networking events
- Assist the HR Team with the coordination and completion of HR activities relating to the employee life-cycle
- Ad-hoc administration and recruitment reporting tasks as required
