About the role
We have an opportunity for an experienced blue-collar recruiter to contribute to our newly created internal Talent Acquisition function. Working within a fun and supportive team, this role will recruit for a range of blue collar roles at Cleanaway for WA, SA and NT.
As we are a newly established team, the team culture is evolving, agile, genuinely collaborative and fun, as we build the Talent Acquisition function and capability across Cleanaway.
In this role, you will undertake end-to-end recruitment, working with managers to recruit for all blue-collar roles: drivers, trades and operators for our operations. You will be a passionate, proactive and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist who wants to grow their career in a fast paced, evolving environment. The responsibilities of the role include:
Engaging with leaders and key stakeholders to provide recruitment solutions.
Coaching hiring managers to drive best practice hiring methodology.
Manage selection processes and pre-employment requirements.
Candidate sourcing and management including feedback and offers.
About you
As an experienced blue-collar recruiter, you will enjoy partnering with leaders to understand their operational requirements and drive successful recruitment outcomes.
Strong blue-collar Talent Acquisition experience in a fast-paced, operational environment, within heavy industry: mining, construction, logistics or waste.
Recruitment experience working within either an agency or an internal recruitment function or perhaps you may have a mix of both.
Strong communication and influencing skills to ensure new TA processes are adopted.
Ability to provide market intelligence and recruitment advice to hiring managers to build their capability.
Ability to deliver proactive sourcing strategies, experience in talent pipelining would be an advantage.
Being a great team player, you enjoy creating strong and trusted relationships with stakeholders and your team.
A passion for working in Talent Acquisition.
The role is 2 days working in the office - either Mandurah or Malaga.
