This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same, meaning we are looking for someone who is highly adaptable, and can manage competing priorities. You will have extensive experience in recruitment and be ready to bring different ideas to the role and challenge the norm. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can drive positive change. You will be a person of influence who can lead a large team. Your previous management experience will assist you in effectively and efficiently managing the Recruitment team including day to day team direction, performance reviews, professional development, rostering and leave management. Having an approachable and outgoing nature is key to this role and you will be a naturally calm and steadfast person.We are looking for an experienced leader with impeccable communication skills, and importantly, be able to build strong working relationships with all levels of internal and external stakeholders. You will be influential and adaptable, able to think and plan strategically but also be able to work on the day-to-day aspects of the role. In the role you will represent the recruitment team in a number of forums, strategic planning meetings, recruitment expos and district wide projects. Having experience in a multifaceted, complex government agency will allow you to navigate the wide variety of tasks involved in the role.Customer service is at the forefront of this role and the role will require someone who can provide informed, succinct and concise advice to Management, General Managers, Executive Directors, our Chief Executive and external stakeholders as well as guide the team to achieve KPI's and continuous recruitment improvement.   • Demonstrated team leadership capabilities to lead large teams from various cultural backgrounds and their stakeholders through fast paced and ever-changing environments.
  • Demonstrated application of strong verbal and written communication, negotiation and people management skills with a strong focus on customer service and business partnerships.
  • Demonstrated experience in operationalising Recruitment and other key strategies and engaging with stakeholders on continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
