The recent rebranding of the product line to i-PRO globally, has enabled significant growth opportunities within Australia, enabling i-PRO to add a dedicated Business Development Manager in Sydney to join their expanding national sales & Business Development team.
Position & Responsibilities
The territory Business Development Manager will be responsible for;
- Engaging with new and existing System Integrators, Resellers, Partners, Consulting & Engineering Firms and End Users.
- Educating Security Installers, End Users and Consultants on products and solutions
- Setting up & conducting detailed product & solution demonstrations and proof of concepts
- Regularly updating the channel with the latest products and solutions
- Working with Distribution, Partners & Sales Engineers to identify and respond to tenders as required
- Identify, grow and successfully secure new business opportunities.
- Manage and strengthen existing tier 1 and tier 2 accounts, whilst supporting growth activities with national accounts and opportunities, as & when required
- Work with other BDMs, Sales Staff and Sales Engineers to achieve territory and national targets and performance goals
- Travelling to and throughout assigned territories and to the national office as and when required to undertake all tasks relevant to the role
Requirements
The successful applicant will ideally possess the following skills and experience:
- Prior Business Development, account management or sales experience with a manufacturer, preferably from the Security industry.
- Strong knowledge of IP Surveillance, Analytics, CCTV and/or Video Management Software will be advantageous, but not essential
- Technical aptitude with the ability to adapt to existing, new and emerging technologies
- A good understanding of security, networking and IT products & technologies
- Demonstrated ability to build, develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proven & demonstrated track record of sales success
- Able to work autonomously, remotely and with online CRM tools
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel throughout NSW and ACT
- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience working for a manufacturer will be an advantage
