Education Queensland International (EQI), commercial arm of the Department of Education (DE) International Branch, develops and promotes programs for international students who want to study at a Queensland Government primary or secondary school.

As the Regional Coordinator in EQI's Recruitment - International Student Programs (ISP) Team, you will promote Queensland Government schools and recruit fee paying international students (visa subclass 500 - student visa) from the responsible markets/ regions (for example, Japan, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan) to study in the ISP.

About the Role
As the Regional Coordinator, Recruitment - International Student Programs, you will:
- Provide high level specialist and strategic advice to senior management concerning educational and market trends, and ensure appropriate, responsible and relevant strategies are in place to significantly increase revenue and market share.
- Lead and participate in project/initiatives and implementation of strategies to ensure the achievement of outcomes against key priorities for DEi.
Responsibilities include:
- Promote and sell DE International's (DEi) International Student Programs (ISP) to overseas students to achieve annual enrolment targets and other business outcomes.
- Develop and implement Market Action Plans for responsible markets to increase revenue and market share for ISP as directed.
- Provide client management, training and support services to a diverse portfolio of domestic and internationally based accredited educational agencies.
- Develop and oversee international marketing and student recruitment projects such as promotional events, advertising and media relations activities.
- Prepare submissions, reports, briefing material and correspondence for the Manager.
About You:
- Relevant experience and knowledge in the international education industry, the legislations and student visa regulations/requirements, for example, Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS), the National Code and Home Affairs student visa conditions and requirements.
- Chinese and/ or Japanese speaking and reading skills are desirable but not essential.
