About the role
Regional Arts Victoria’s Regional Managers work closely with creative communities, building capacity of local creative organisations, community groups and artists to develop robust, self-determined and culturally dynamic regional communities across the State.
The Regional Manager, South West will work across five Local Government Areas in the South West to support and grow fertile ground for creatives and creative industries in their region to thrive.
Guided by the priorities of the South West Creative Industries Strategy 2020 to 2024 (found here https://strategy.rav.net.au/) the Regional Manager will contribute to:
- fostering a culture of collaboration and aspiration to deliver on the objectives and activities of the final year of the strategy.
- supporting development of creative industries policy and strategy beyond 2024
- nurturing participation and engagement in the creative industries
Direct experience working in the creative sector is not necessary but an interest or passion in supporting and developing sustainable creative communities is desirable.
